TKDCI LAUNCHED
Over 1,000 youth, volunteers and guests packed
the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR)
gymnasium, during the official launching of the
Tao at Kalikasan Development Center, Inc.
(TKDCI) last November 30, 2007.

The event, spearheaded by Mr. Robert Dela
Cruz, TKDCI Executive Director, presented the
advocacies of the organization through music
and arts.
        The launch involved a series of activities,
including a mini-trade fair and bazaar, national
poster making contest, final exhibit of the 1st
National Painting Competition, and the Battle of
the Bands with special guest performers  
KAMIKAZEE and ROCKSTEDDY.

53 hectares for agro-reforestation project granted to TKDCI

its agro-reforestation project by the
Department of Environment and Natural
Resources Region IV-A.

The SAMARIA Band seriously preparing for a recording stint
This album will be a compilation of 12 original
songs of the bands who participated in the
TKDCI Awit at Sigaw ng Kalikasan (Battle of the
Bands) last November 2007.  The bands who
eventually became volunteers of TKDCI joined
in this endeavor to promote environment
advocacies through music and to raise funds
for TKDCI's various development programs.

Everyone is encourage to purchase this album
which will be out in the market on May 30, 2008.

TKDCI releases
“MUSIKA at KALIKASAN” album
        After months of hard work, Tao at Kalikasan
Development Center, Inc. (TKDCI), together with
Woodland, Samaria, Tribora. Pieces of Jane and Gaia  
finally release its compilation album entitled “Musika at
Kalikasan”.

 Composed of 12 original songs, the album is now  
available in Odyssey record outlets located at several
SM branches. Among the songs in the album are:
“Kalikasan”, its carrier single, “Ikaw” and “Minimithi” by
Woodland; “Makakarating Din” and “Wala na” by
Samaria; “Awit ng Kabataan” and “Pare ni Juan” by Gaia;
“Bora” and “Rapsa” by Tribora; and “Kailan” and “Isipin”
by Pieces of Jane. Also included in the album is “Tao at
Kalikasan”, the official theme song of TKDCI and
interpreted by various artists of the bands mentioned.
